Polish Star of David

This Polish Star of David is in worn condition and it concerns a yellow star with black thread on the edges.

On 23 November 1939 it was compulsory in Poland for Jews aged 10 or older to wear a white armband with blue star of David.
From September 1941 it was compulsory to wear the yellow star of David in Poland for Jews aged 6 or older.
