Womens political prisoners coat
This concentration camp women inmates coat was worn by a Polish political prisoner.
The coat was found in Krakow (Poland) and the wearer is unknown, presumable from a former Auschwitz inmate.
The red political prisoners insignia was hand sewn onto this jacket.
An interesting detail is that this women’s jacket has German army buttons which are made of aluminum.
The cloth is made of recycled wool and the loop in the jacket is made of typical SS uniform lining.
An interesting detail is that during the production of this coat black and grey thread were used.
